The A194 is signposted just before you reach Gateshead and Newcastle (Northbound) on all major routes into the North East. Southbound take the 'A19' Tyne Tunnel and follow the 'A194' (Beach Road.)By Metro (train) from Sunderland, Newcastle city centre and Newcastle airport: Take the "South Shields" (yellow) Metro line East to 'South Shields' stop. As you exit the station head east onto 'King Street' the main shopping area. At the end of the street there is a mini- roundabout.
